Alex Chen broasd

Alex Chen is a third-year PhD student in the Computer Science Department at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Prof. Jane Smith. Alex’s research focuses on AI-mediated creativity tools, specifically systems that support collaborative writing and visual ideation.

Before CMU, Alex received a BS in Computer Science from UC Berkeley. Alex has published at CHI and CSCW, and is a recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.
