Resonant Space
An interactive audio installation that maps visitor movement to generative soundscapes, creating a unique spatial audio experience for each visitor.
Resonant Space is a room-scale audio installation built with Max/MSP and custom IR sensors. As visitors move through the space, their positions are tracked and mapped to parameters of a generative synthesizer — pitch, reverb, and spatial panning all shift in real time.
The project explores how sound can make invisible spatial relationships tangible, and how a shared environment becomes personalized through movement.
